Ipsea thailandica is a species in the Ipsea genus. This name is accepted name for the species in the family Orchidaceae subfamily Epidendroideae, tribe Collabieae, . . This species is found in Thailand.
It was name from plants bought in Bangkok markets which where supposed to come from Northern East of Thailand. (Seidenfaden 1997). However later plants offered for sale in Mae Sot, Tak and the Three Pagodas pass were apparently collected from Myanmar (source Dr. Sukshatan in Flora of Thailand). And while they where originally thought to be terrestrial it is now suspected that they're epiphytes.
