The orchid Cymbidium Profusion is a Cymbidium hybrid. registered with the Royal Horticultural Society by McBean's in 1932. Registered parents are Cymbidium Ceres × Cymbidium Vesta. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Cymbidium insigne (62.50% section: Cyperorchis ) Cymbidium lowianum var. kalawense (25.00% ) Cymbidium eburneum (6.25% section: Cyperorchis ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
