It is originated by Miyamoto Registered parents are Cattleya Walter Jewell × Cattleya Saint Gothard (1908). The key influencing species of this hybrid are Cattleya dowiana (25.00% subgenus Cattleya section: Cattleya ) Cattleya warscewiczii (25.00% subgenus Cattleya section: Cattleya ) Cattleya tenebrosa (18.75% subgenus Crispae section: Crispae series: Cattleyodes ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
