The orchid Paphiopedilum Robert Paterson is a hybrid in the Paphiopedilum genus. registered with the Royal Horticultural Society by Black & Flory in 1925. Registered parents are Paphiopedilum Eurybiades × Paphiopedilum Mem. F. M. Ogilvie. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Paphiopedilum villosum var. boxallii (46.88% subgenus Paphiopedilum section: Paphiopedilum ) Paphiopedilum insigne (28.13% subgenus Paphiopedilum section: Paphiopedilum ) Paphiopedilum spicerianum (18.75% ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
