It is originated by Keeling Registered parents are Paphiopedilum A. E. Chanter × Paphiopedilum Gertrude West. The key influencing species of this hybrid are Paphiopedilum insigne (30.47% subgenus Paphiopedilum section: Paphiopedilum ) Paphiopedilum spicerianum (29.69% ) Paphiopedilum villosum var. boxallii (28.91% subgenus Paphiopedilum section: Paphiopedilum ) listed in order of their genetic contribution.
